cleaning
House Cleaner (Former Employee), Wallaceburg, ONAugust 2, 2012
Cleaning houses is consistent repetitive work every time. I start off by vacuming, dusting, wiping everything down. starting with bathrooms, ending with the kitchen. Then sweep and mop. I learned how to be organized and consistent with cleaning. Sometime can get difficult when having to move heavy furniture around, lamps/ pictures may fall by accident – more... if not paying attention. – less

The most difficult part of this job was the long hours. The most enjoyable part was being able to work with such a great a team.

I worked for other households as a part time job, fixing everything from door knobs to landscaping. Was simple but hard work.

Great Households, being made part of the family
Housekeeper/Cook/Nanny (Former Employee), New York, NYMay 1, 2013
Pros: definitely all the goodies i baked...getting to eat some of them!!!
Cons: long days sometimes and perhaps on occassion not getting home till very late at night
A typical day at my work would have been to tend to the young children I cared for, preparing meals for the children, shopping for groceries, laundry keeping the homes clean and tidy.
Preparing and cooking tasty meals albeit health choices in menus or for perhaps special diets............
I did not have co-workers whilst working in my profession.
The – more... hardest part of my job would definitely be having to say goodbye to the children when my contract came to fruition
The most enjoyable?...definitely seeing the child/children all blossom in their own time and ways as a result of my input in their lives – less

Very flexible and versatile job
Housekeeper (Former Employee), PRMay 31, 2012
Pros: n/a
Cons: n/a
Everyday would be different on the job considering the fact that the job was offered when a client would give a call and based upon their requests.
I didn't really learn a lot within this job since it was very selective upon when and where I would work.
I didn't really have any management because I myself would find and do the job.
The hardest part – more... of the job would be the amount of money spent on gas when their were farther trips taken for example I would live around a town in Puerto Rico called Ponce and sometimes would have to travel all the way to Aguadilla which was about a hour drive away.
I honestly don't think their was anything enjoyable on the job since I couldn't work a lot.If possible I would've worked more than what I normally would since I wanted to make more money. – less
