I learned french and how is the french way of life.
The family was really helpful with everything.
It was an experience I will never forget.

Pros: i had to have my own lunch
Cons: my day start at 8:30 to 5:00 sometimes i went home earlier
everyday I enjoyed to be at work because my employer was a sweet person. I learned that treat someone's property as yours so that you can work well together. she was a wonderful person who you like to work to. I was alone because it was a private house, but I think I can work well with other people because i used to work as a cleaner.

Pros: french language, a lot of free time to visit paris
Cons: -
I worked in a private house as fille au pair in France (Aubervilliers, near Paris).
I took care of two children, a boy aged 3 and a girl aged 2. I made lunches and dinners for them, played with them, changed their diapers, took them in the park or at school, sang with them, put them in the bed to sleep.
I lived with the family: mother, father and these two children. They also had three cats.
I spoke French with them; sometimes I spoke English.

i felt like i was at home, it was really comfortable and I was happy with that job.
Caretaker (Former Employee), Redondo Beach, CANovember 10, 2013
Pros: i got free lunches, and a new family.
When I got to her house I would pick her up from her bed, give her a bath, and make her breakfast. I would also give her medicine, get her to exercise, give her massages all over her body, and get her to walk around for a few minutes in her house. At noon I would make her lunch, and give her all her vitamins, and I would also do her laundry. Through all the days that I've worked for her I learned so much. I learned how to have more patience, to never give up no matter how hard things got, and how to enjoy the little things in life. All of my co-workers were really nice, and understandable. The most hardest part of my job was when she was dying. The most enjoyable part of the job was when they told me that I was part of their family.
