Productive and easy to get along with family.
Caregiver (Former Employee), Oshawa, ONApril 3, 2014
Pros: free use of internet and laptop.
Light and fun job especially when hanging out with the kids. I felt like I'm a kid again when I'm playing, doing crafts and laughing with them. This type of job improved my skills as a direct care provider. I learned to be very responsible looking after the safety of the kids especially when taking them outside for a walk or play. Moreover, doing light – more... house chores taught me how to be more organized with all the things in the house. – less

free food and board of lodging
Child Care Attendant (Former Employee), Whitby, ONJanuary 30, 2014
Pros: free food and lodging
Cons: long hours
Every day is busy but very challenging to meet different kind of people. you will learn to be patient, listen, and to be fair to your work mates. the hardest is when you miss details on the catering requirement. the enjoyable part when the costumer is satisfied to the services we render to them.

Summer Job
Nanny (Former Employee), Calgary, ABDecember 4, 2013
Pros: free foood
Cons: long hours
This was a summer job in which I got kids up in the morning and prepared there meals throughout the day. I also took them to the park and provided other activities for them. The hardest part of the job was the long hours and exhaustion from looking after 2 small kids. I learned to problem solve in an efficient manner as there were often issues that – more... arose. – less

fun to plan different activitities each day each day was
Child Care (Former Employee), Charlottetown, PESeptember 10, 2013
Pros: doing fun activitities
Cons: some days were long as they worked shift work and they could be held up
Each and everyday was like I had the role of a teacher and the children were my students. Hardest part was when the boys would not get along with each other and to be fair and have them all involved with the solution.

Friendly environment
Horse Groomer (Former Employee), Guelph ONSeptember 28, 2012
Pros: i got to work with horses
Cons: the smell
On a typical day at work, I would turn the horses out, clean the stalls, prepare the horses for jogging, bath, and brush the horses as well as feed them.

I worked well with my employer, and other employees. It was a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
