Our client is currently seeking a reliable dedicated Billing Administration Specialist for their Waterloo Office. The primary focus of this role will be entering customer contract data, which is used by the A/R team for billing purposes, into the SAP system. This position requires someone with experience in A/R, particularly billing and collections, with excellent knowledge of Excel and has excellent attention to detail. Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system would be an asset. This position is 40 hours per week/for up to 6 months.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful applicant will have the following job responsibilities:

Review customer contracts and compare to active billing.
Enter contract data according to a specified format.
Verify accuracy and completeness of data.
Assist in testing new processes in an SAP environment.
Ad-hoc reporting or other billing related tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications and personal attributes:

Exceptional organizational skills.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Post-secondary degree or diploma with a concentration on accounting/finance.
Effective communicator and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently.
Must work well under pressure and complete tasks in a timely fashion.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Focused attention to detail.

ADDITIONAL ASSETS
Experience using SAP, or similar accounting software.
Comfortable using a variety of billing software applications.
Previous experience working in a multi-currency environment.
Previous billing experience would be a significant asset.
