Aircraft Heavy Maintenance Manager
Aircraft Heavy Maintenance Manager responsible for the day-to-day project execution, work planning, resources allocation and reporting as it pertains to Aircraft Heavy Maintenance /C Checks. Monitor project critical paths and request resource adjustments when required. Facilitate meeting on production issues and provide solutions to critical situations as they arise. Coordinate work with other Production Managers to ensure assigned projects are progressing smoothly. Monitor the activities of the production crews including scheduling and overtime requirements. Act as a resource, analyze technical difficulties that arise during projects and determine solutions. Coordinate with production planning to ensure the appropriate tasks are created and that parts /drawings are made available to the floor. Help resolve Crew Chief issues that may arise with Engineering /Quality/Procurement. Review work packages prepared prior to issuing to the floor including drawings, task cards and Bills of Materials. Conduct annual performance appraisals for specified production employees and ensure adherence to safety policies. Proven leadership and management skills in the area of Project Management and Heavy Maintenance with a valid AME license category M or E with previous related experience.
