Performs various accounting duties such as recording necessary transactions, preparing financial information and reports as well as, account and bank reconciliations. Other duties include coordinating, preparing, and analyzing financial information and reports that provide information for management’s use in making Dealership financial decisions.
Prepares various daily, monthly, quarterly, or annual financial reports or statements.
Records routine transactions and adjusting journal entries.
Gathers, reviews, and analyzes financial information.
Performs complex account reconciliations.
Communicates with others in the organization to answer accounting related questions or resolve issues.
Assists other co-workers with related tasks as necessary.
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
3+ years in an accounting position.
Understands accounting fundamentals.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) .
Knowledge of accounting systems and various computer programs.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
College Diploma, University Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
