POSITION: Administrative Assistant for Positive Impact Employment Services
STATUS: Part Time, leading into full-time
REPORTS TO: Director
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for organizing, managing and tracking service hours, performed by contract workers. Reviewing client outcome notes and reporting details to Director. The Admin Assistant will also track and schedule office space, schedule client appointments and perform pick up and delivery of materials and prepare training manuals and documents including managing resource materials. Other responsibilities: responding to and answering telephone calls.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful applicant will have a minimum of one-year experience as an Admin Assistant. The candidate will possess top-notch telephone and interpersonal skills and excellent computer skills (including excel) as well as outstanding customer service. You must be able to handle multiple tasks with little or no supervision. Previous experience working in an employment agency setting a definite asset.. You must be able to work days, evenings or weekends. Flexible schedule is a must.
A Criminal Record check working with the Vulnerable sector will be required for this position. You must also have a home computer/lap top, cellular phone and reliable vehicle as this position will require working from home as well as in the office. Knowledge of contract work a strong asset.
Starting Wage: $15 per hour
