Pros: manage my own time, caseload and develop the teaching programmes myself.
Cons: nowhere to eat lunch, do not enjoy office environment.
I start work at 8am, go to the office, prepare for my home visits. Check my emails and if I have any new initial visits to arrange. I may have some 1:1 supervision with a team member, I may need to complete a report for a child. I complete my visits, return to the office , write up the visits and log them on the ONE system. I may then need to phone other professionals to discuss a particular child, or to request further information.I may also need to attend a multi professional meeting for a child, or an appointment with a family with a consultant. My job is extremely varied and never the same.
