Gear to student achievement and success
Learning Associate (Former Employee), Frog Lake, ABMay 25, 2015
Pros: Supportive, team atmosphere
Cons: commute
I would start the day by preparing student work stations, turn on Laptops. The day fills with checking emails, verifying appointments, preparing documents for student meetings, prepare for day events, catalogue library items, Answer and screen calls, consult with on site instructors, assist students with learning through learning strategies. I really enjoyed who I worked with and communicated on a regular basis with my supervisor. The hardest part of the job was the commute.

Overall going to school at portage was great. I enjoyed the amount of one-on-one time I got my my instructors and the way they presented the course work to us.
