Required expertise/experience

Technical:

- Natural gas processing (sweet & sour) – e.g. separation, compression, dehydration, sweetening
- P.Eng. required (APEGA registration)
- Knowledge of codes, standards & regulatory requirements (ASME, ANSI, ERCB, etc.): B31.3, CSA Z662, Pressure Piping Registration, API 520, API 2000, etc.
- Facility modularization/packaging/assembly

Practical:

- 4+ years in upstream oil & gas production facilities in Western Canada
- Construction, commissioning & operations experience an asset
- Ability to effectively communicate with Client & Vendors (spoken & written)

Job Duties

- Process simulation
- Equipment sizing & rating
- Development of detailed design criteria, PFDs, P&IDs, Line List
- Participation in design reviews, HAZOP reviews
- Coordination of design work with other disciplines in teamwork setting
- Project Coordination

Other

- Knowledge of mechanical and/or automation engineering an asset
- Knowledge of Pipeline Design and Construction preferred
