Given the nature of the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier as a unique, boutique style property, Bartender will serve as an ambassador for the Hotel and must be a multi-functional individual with an attention for the finer details.
Duties
Take and serve beverages orders
Preparing all beverages for the restaurant & room service
Setting up and tearing down the bar
Record sales accurately in P.O.S. system, providing a completed and cross-referenced cheque summary at the end of each shift
Assist manager with the bar inventory on a monthly basis
Ensure compliance with provincial liquor regulations and legislation.
Work safely at all times.
Ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation to the Hotel safety program.
Be health and safety conscious and involved in maintaining a safe work environment
Complies with Pinnacle Hotel policies and code of ethics.
Job Requirements
Must have "Serving It Right" certificate
Previous experience both Server and Bartender
Wine, spirit and beer knowledge is a definitive asset and highly recommended
Must be well self motivated, responsible, organized
Have excellent communication and guest service skills
Possesses an eye for the smallest detail.
Maintains a flexible schedule to accommodate operational needs of a hotel environment.
