Job Reports to: Regional Vice President

Job Summary
The District Manager is a key part of the overall sales team at Pictometry that supports our public sector and infrastructure business and has primary responsibility for
revenue generation within their assigned territory. The District Manager coordinates all sales activities within their region, working in conjunction with their Regional Technical Manager to achieve all revenue goals. Specificallly, the employee will be maintaining the relationship with existing customers, up-selling where the opportunity arises and adding new customers to the existing customer base. The selected candidate will be rewarded for their success with an excellent compensation/commission plan. This candidate will work from their home office and must reside within the territory (Eastern Canada).

Major Responsibilities/Activities

  • Develop and execute strategic territory business plans
  • Create and drive revenue, increase brand awareness, and generate leads within your territory
  • Generate new business opportunities through professional prospecting and cold-calling.
  • Conduct large group sales presentations and software demonstrations
  • Take ownership of the sales cycle from lead generation to closure
  • Maintain account and opportunity forecasting within Salesforce.com CRM
  • Generate quality leads from tradeshows and regional networking events
  • Actively work to develop and maintain strong relationships with customer
  • Communicate with customers to ensure 100% client satisfaction and retention
  • Provide regular product and market feedback to Product Management
  • Meet (and exceed!) annual sales quotas

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of software sales experience with documented success
  • Proven track record as sales hunter, closer, and team player
  • Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with change, think strategically, and make complex decisions
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office) and experience demonstrating software
  • Natural sales skills with the ability to comprehend and speak technically.
  • Must be a highly motivated, self-starter with the drive and persistence necessary to maximize

the potential of the territory.

  • Demonstrated ability to deal with change, think strategically, and make complex decisions
  • Experience selling to the public sector is a plus, but not required.
  • Extensive travel within the territory required
  • 4-year college degree is required
