Our client delivers health care services to more than 70,000 clients annually. To continue expanding on the quality healthcare they offer, they are now looking for an Area Director to lead and grow the operations in Regina, SK. The role of Area Director is a crucial role within their organization. Not only will this person provide strong leadership to the healthcare team, but they will also grow the healthcare branch and make it a vital, local health care resource.

The Role:
Provide leadership for day-to-day operations;
Establish and grow the reputation and profile of the healthcare branch in the community through marketing, business development and relationship building;
Develop and implement annual financial goals as well as business strategies to meet those goals;
Manage and oversee branch and financial operations;
Provide leadership and direction for employees including clinical managers, nurses and other caregivers;
Ensure quality service standards and compliance are met at all times; and
Build and grow the healthcare team by overseeing and participating in the recruitment and hiring of new employees.

You and Your Experience:
You have a minimum of 5 years experience in a management, sales or business development role;
You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are driven to succeed;
You have experience providing leadership to a team;
You have strong business acumen and have experience developing and implementing business strategies;
You can recognize the needs of prospective clients and are a solutions oriented individual;
You are a strong communicator, able to relate your ideas clearly through both written and verbal form;
You are a natural at building relationships and you love getting out and meeting people. You consider yourself a connected person to the community, whether through volunteerism, community building or business networking events;
Though not a requirement, having your Masters of Business or Healthcare Administration (MBA or MHA), being a Registered Nurse (RN) or having a Degree in Nursing will be a strong asset.
