Pengrowth offers great benefits and is a very nice place to work. The people are nice and the culture is great. Managers do not seem to have people skills. A lot of good people leave because their managers treat them unfairly. If you are a valued employee they will overload you with work instead of sharing the work load with peers. The CEO seems to be chopping up the company and selling it piece by piece. I don't think Pengrowth will be around too much longer, they are focusing everything on their Lindbergh assets which doesn't seem to spark much investor interest.
Corporate Governance (Former Employee) – Calgary, AB – 19 February 2017
Enjoyable place to work with great people. I especially liked working with integrity engineering on corporate governance. There was an emphasis made for creating streamlining in the company and the upper management was very supportive of the initiative. It made it easy to get people on board with change, which in the end created a more consistent process that could easily be handed on to new employees. I really felt job satisfaction by making a real difference for the company.

Pengrowth was a good company to work with. Unfortunately they had to restructure and this led to some tension within the company. Instead of a complete lay off they are doing it gradually so causing insecurity and staff are giving only what the deem necessary.
Exercise facility and beautiful staff lounge
I really enjoyed working at Pengrowth and did not find any cons
