We currently have an opening for an Administrative Assistant within our Corporate Underwriting & Marketing department. Working closely with our Head Office team members the responsibilities would include the following:

  • assist the Department Manager to make best use of time and ensure that work is handled efficiently
  • work closely with Communications/Marketing anticipating needs while managing day to day workflow
  • assist with the planning and organizing of special events, meetings, webinars, trainings
  • assist in the monitoring of the Marketing helpdesk and handle requests whenever possible
  • oversee marketing promotional products and inventory records
  • coordinate ordering of promotional products
  • maintain internal electronic file system
  • prepare and distribute policy wordings and applications
  • maintain and distribute regional and internal manuals
  • provide support on ad hoc projects and special tasks as assigned


  • proficient with Microsoft Office applications and an interest to learn new software
  • minimum three (3) years’ experience in a similar role
  • superior attention to detail, organized with exceptional prioritization skills
  • strong time-management,
  • ability to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization in a professional manner
  • able to take initiative and respond promptly to requests
  • team player, works well with others, takes direction in a positive manner
  • knowledge of insurance industry would be an asset
  • some post-secondary education in business administration or marketing would be an asset
