Our client is a well-established US based consumer durables company with new offices in Canada.
We are looking for someone who can develop the company's infrastructure for order management process, working collaboratively with the US SAP Core Team; and serve as the resident SAP expert.
The Sales and Service Manager oversees the order entry and quote administration process for the company. Manages the Retailer Services Associates to ensure that order processing policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to, and to ensure the timely and accurate entry of orders on a daily basis. Liaisons with Sales, Distribution and Logistics, and Finance/Accounting to ensure that customers’ orders are being filled in a timely manner and that customers (retailers) needs are being addressed and met.
Works with Distribution and Logistics to prioritize customer orders; oversees any changes to customers’ purchase orders; communicates order status and customers’ specifications for all transactions to other functional teams as needed.
Ensures that customer pricing and SKU information is maintained in the system.
Oversees Retailer Service Associates’ collaboration with the Customer Service department in facilitating all warranty and non-warranty replacement part shipments.
Communicates potential opportunities and issues through the creation of standardized management reports.
Controls workflow to ensure that daily workload is completed timely and efficiently.
Develops and implements order entry processes into SAP that are error free; implements any procedural changes; continuously monitors and refines order-entry processes and procedures as needed.
8-10 years experience managing an order processing function. Experience with SAP order entry processes required and experience with building an SAP order entry function strongly preferred.
