Thick skin a must
Cashier, Sterling, VA - March 29, 2013
A typical day for my position involves exchanging goods for money, providing customer service, taking future orders, then cleaning. I learned how to operate a cash register and how to set shelves. Management has little experience and unsuitable traits to run a reputable store. The co-workers come in two varieties: calm and agreeable to be around or cliquish and complaining. Despite the large workload thrust upon you, the hardest part is interacting with the staff. My favorite duty is inflating mylar balloons.
