Our professionally experienced and qualified Child and Youth Care Workers can help you respond more effectively to a variety of issues including school related problems, family conflict, depression and anxiety, aggression and anger management, self-harm behaviours, gender identity and healthy relationship building.
As a Program Facilitator, you will be responsible for networking and building strategic alliances within the community. Through building relationships, you'll plan and facilitate creative and engaging workshops for youth focused on a variety of topics identified by the clients. This is an excellent position for someone who is self-motivated and can work independently. This position offers the unique ability to work from home and create a flexible work schedule.
Education and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Child and Youth Care, or a related field in Human Services.
- Demonstrated experience with engaging young people in a group setting
- Understanding of experiential learning, positive peer culture and therapeutic healing practices
- valid First Aid (incl. CPR) certification, a Criminal Record Check and an Information Record Check are required.
