Papa Johns
In store (Former Employee), Frankfort, KYJune 29, 2014
Pros: job sercurity
Cons: no way to move up
The hardest part of the job is answering phones and tryin to remember everything you are supposed to say and it keeps you very busy. It is also difficult to remember all the toppings on the pizza. It is a great environment to work in. The biggest problem for me is papa johns does not have much room for growth. It is hard to move past manager.

Deliver Pizzas
Delivery Driver (Former Employee), Columbus, OHJune 29, 2014
Cons: getting robbed
My typical day I would have orders come in, and deliver pizza.
I learned how to make pizzas. The management and co-workers were awesome. The hardest part of the job was delivering them on time. The most enjoyable part was getting the tips.

I really enjoyed my job duties.
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Corpus Christi, TXJune 27, 2014
Pros: pizza!
Cons: low wages
I really enjoyed the typical daily tasks I was required to preform, but often I had to pick up slack behind others and the management was not very good at enforcing job duties. However I enjoyed the face time I got with my customers and keeping the store clean. The funnest part of my job was making pizzas custom for every order. It was challenging and – more... enjoyable. – less

productive and fun place
Customer Service Assistant (Former Employee), LondonJune 27, 2014
A typical day a work consisted of loads of orders between 19:00 till 21:00, working in a team to get the job done. I learned how pizza are made and how to deal with difficult situations. I would say the hardest part of the job was when a colleague that was part of the team i worked in did not show up because it meant everyone else had to work extra – more... hard and limited breaks. – less

Driver (Former Employee), Bowie, MDJune 26, 2014
Pros: good tips some nights
Cons: one manger who treated people anyway they wanted
A typical day at work, I would clock in get a $10 bank too cover the change from customers orders. I learned to box pizzas, label boxes, cut pizzas in different ways, and how to work in a fast food restaurant. My co-workers was really cool, nice and fun to be around each and everyday. The hardest part of the job would be driving your car all day and – more... you run out of gas because your not making tips. The enjoyable part of the job for me was the weekends when people ordered pizzas from opening to closing. – less

Enjoyable working environment
Shift Manager & Supervisor (Current Employee), basildonJune 26, 2014
Work can be very repetitive however each day presents new challenges through the customer service side of things.
*A typical day at work would be the set up and preparation of the store for the rush period between 5 and 9, which includes food prep and the cleanliness of the store.
*From working at Papa Johns i have acquired the ability to manage a workforce – more... from between 6-11 members of staff. Additionally i am now able to cash up with ease and also place food orders and budget costs.
*There's always a positive atmosphere in the working environment
*Situations that i find challenging would be having to manage both staff, incoming and outgoing orders and the general up keep of the store during the most busy periods of the week and night.
*The most enjoyable part of the job role would be socializing with customers and co-workers, and in addition to this the challenges the job presents i find enjoyable as i like to be challenged. – less

Pros: knowing people and my area in which i live better
Cons: breaks, money, have to use your car for deilivery with no benifits

Management/Driver (Former Employee), Jeffersonville, INJune 25, 2014
Pros: nothing
Cons: eveything
I worked there for 16 years. It can be good money. They will fire you over a drop of a hat. So if your 16 and need a job then PJ's is a great job, but if you older then look for another job. They do not like their employees to make money.

Productive, helpful, and fun environment.
Store Associate (Current Employee), Elizabethtown, PAJune 24, 2014
Pros: flexible schedules, helpful co-workers and managers
Cons: not many hours available
Our typical day at Papa John's is opening the store. Then receiving customers orders either by phone or over the website, and start on slapping out the pizza dough and then creating the desired pizza that the customer orders. We suggest any specials we are having to the customer and also offer them any sides or beverages. We then send the order out – more... with a dealing driver or wait for the customer to pick it up. The management as well as co-workers are very great to get along with and helpful when help is needed. The hardest part is dealing with angry customers, but i get down to the reason the customer is upset and try to make it up to the customer the best that i can so the customer is Happy with our service once again and get the customer service they deserve here. The most enjoyable part of my jobs is the working environment around you. Everyone is happy and like to have fun but also gets the jobs done. As well as being very helpful with things. Also an enjoyable part of my job is when certain customers remember you and talk to you instead of getting the pizza and leaving. i also like when the customers are so satisfied and happy with our service. i enjoy working for Papa John's and satisfying every customers needs. – less

It is a Job
Delivery Driver (Current Employee), Rialto, CAJune 24, 2014
Pros: flexible schedule
Cons: low pay, no opportunity for advancement, too few hours available
Typically one driver delivers between 5-10 orders. The job can be mastered in roughly 2 days. Co-workers and managers are generally very friendly and easygoing. The most difficult part of the job is talking with customers who become uncontrollably angry after their pizza is 2mins late. The most enjoyable part of the job would be every other thursday – more... night when paychecks come in. It is also enjoyable to work outside of the restaurant. – less

Delivery driver (Former Employee), Lincoln, NEJune 21, 2014
Pros: free pizza, 50 % off
Cons: expected to be fast no matter the consequences
I was a delivery driver, and worked for a short time. The managers expected you to be fast no matter the consequences, and there were several accidents on the job because of this. The workers are extremely easy to work with making the job enjoyable.
