*TESTING TECHNICIAN
EDMONTON, ALBERTA*
Packers Plus is the pioneer of open hole, multi-stage horizontal fracturing and we provide technology-based solutions to the oil and gas industry around the world. We are currently recruiting for a Testing Technician to join our team at our Rapid Tool Development Center in Edmonton.
Primary Role Focus
Complete the testing for all new equipment and technologies
- Reports to the Testing Coordinator
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Complete pressure testing, weight testing and slip testing to ensure product meets requirements and standards
- Assist in the assembly of tools for testing
- Follow testing and safety procedures supplied by engineers
- Provide documentation of test findings
- Troubleshooting testing errors
- Coordinate testing with third party vendors
- Maintain cleanliness of work space and shop
- Assist with repair or maintenance of tools as required
