Packers Plus is the pioneer of open hole, multi-stage completions and we provide technology-based solutions to the oil and gas industry around the world. We are currently recruiting for a Team Lead of Graphics to join the Marketing, Communications and Research team at our head office in Calgary.

Primary Role Focus

Lead a Graphics team of 3-4 people. Produce graphics, technical files, animations, videos, website content, and photos that represent the company image according to the style guide and marketing campaigns as developed by the department.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Communicate frequently through travel, meetings, and phone calls with Packers Plus staff to determine graphic design requirements
  • Design or supervise the design of marketing documents such as brochures, case studies, invitations and advertisements
  • Meet with the sales team and other departments as required to understand their needs and produce high quality images, documents, or PowerPoint presentations
  • Provide assistance with creating necessary materials for trade shows and other events
  • Organize and coordinate projects with different teams to ensure accuracy and effectiveness
  • Work with the graphics team members to ensure high quality design while meeting project deadlines
  • Ensure appropriate material is used to represent accurate information and consistency in brand guidelines

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate/agency graphic design role
  • Previous experience leading and working collaboratively with a small graphics team
  • Understanding of web design, 3D animation or video production is a strong asset
  • Able to translate customer concepts to finished products
  • Previous oil and gas experience considered an asset

Education and Training

  • Degree or diploma in graphic design, marketing or equivalent
  • Demonstrated understanding of graphic design and visual communications principles
  • Project Management Training is an asset
  • Must provide a current portfolio
  • Some travel will be required
