Packers Plus is the pioneer of open hole, multi-stage horizontal fracturing and we provide technology-based solutions to the oil and gas industry around the world. We are currently recruiting Field Specialists to join our team at our service centre in Grande Prairie.

Primary Role Focus

Ensure projects run correctly and safely as outlined in the sales proposal by training and coaching clients at well sites in Packers Plus standards and procedures.

  • Reports to the Service Centre Manager

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Verify shipments to client locations against sales proposal and perform a quality check on all tools, parts and equipment
  • Upon arrival at client’s location, coordinate with Company Representative to verify project timings, expectations and identify factors, actual or potential, that may impact service
  • Assist with the setup of tools on site to ensure they function correctly
  • Run the tools and systems as per program specifications
  • Complete field reports and ensure accurate documentation of the project completion process
  • Participate in the training and mentoring of other Field Specialist when requested
  • Complete other tasks as requested by the District Coordinator or Service Centre Manager
  • Build relationships and enhance customer intimacy by ensuring a superior level of client satisfaction is achieved and maintained

Experience and Skills

  • Knowledge of completion technologies and applications as asset
  • Field knowledge an asset
  • Previous Oil and Gas experience an asset

Education and Training

  • Degree, diploma, or certificate from University, College, or Technical Institute in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline an asset

Physical and Safety Requirements

  • First Aid, CPR, H2S, and WHIMIS
  • Ongoing visits to field locations in all weather conditions
  • Defensive driving, extended periods of driving
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
  • Position is safety sensitive:

oSubject to pre-employment medical testing
oSubject to pre-employment, reasonable cause, and post-incident drug and alcohol testing
oClean drivers abstract is required
