Description of Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Answer inquiries regarding hotel services and registration, provide information about services available in the community and respond to guests' complaints
  • Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts and vouchers
  • Present statements of charges to departing guests and receive payment in the forms of cash, cheque, credit card, and debit card
  • Daily accounting data entry and reconcile
  • Exceed the expectations of all guests through unbeatable customer service and by responding attentively, efficiently and politely to all requests.
  • Help create a positive work environment, through team work and co-operation with peers and team leaders.

Qualification Standards:

Education and Experience

  • Experience as a Front Desk Agent or Night Audit preferred.
  • Education is an asset.
  • Fair customer service background required.
  • Impeccable communication skills required.

Licenses or certificates:

  • No special licenses required. Individuals are required to meet the minimum bonding standards.

Grooming:

  • All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance as per specific company standards included in employee handbook.

Compensation:

  • $14 per hour to start
  • After 6 months, full time employees are registered in our Medical, Dental, and Vision plan that provides 80-100% coverage

Hours of Work:

  • Full time positions require open availability (ESPECIALLY Saturday and Sunday)
