We're a startup based out of the MaRS JOLT program. Our focus is on building a next-generation smart device that can track, analyze, and improve athletes performance in weight training. We're working with biomechanists + coaches at UofT on developing the technology and we're aggressively hiring/expanding.
Here is a quick preview of what we're up to:
What we're looking for:
- Apply to grants + government funding
- Manage cashflow
- Attending workshops and seminars on behalf of PUSH
- Customer relations
The above is a shortlist of tasks, you're going to be part of a growing startup so you'll be exposed to every aspect of being in a startup (marketing, management, financials, product, users, attending conferences).
Apply if you're interested in a challenge, like to work long hours, and have an interest in the field. This is an opportunity to dive right into the Toronto startup scene, learn a ton about building a company from scratch, and a chance to make it big. Everyone here is motivated by the challenge and we expect you to be the same.
This is a key role for us and we're being selective, be prepared to pitch yourself!
This is an unpaid internship for the first 2 months, you'll sign a contract that includes a cash + equity offer after that stage.
