We are a National Canadian Sales and Marketing agency dedicated to the food industry. We are expanding our team and are currently hiring a Full time Purchaser. This position would be responsible for overseeing the purchasing of all of our buy/sell products across Canada. The successful candidate must have excellent computer skills. Excel and Office are mandatory and Microsoft Great Plains would be very beneficial.
This position would be responsible for but not limited to:
- monitoring the movement of the buy/sell inventory
- keeping us in an in-stock position according to our customer requirements
This position would be working directly with our Customer Service and Accounting departments, as well as our warehouses. The candidate will need to ensure that all paperwork and transfers are done correctly as well as ensure our price list and pricing structure is maintained. Attention to detail is extremely important.
Previous office experience is required and previous Food Service Experience is beneficial.
