Perform quality inspection at each stage of SMT operations to ensure proper assembly.
-Jobs and assembly setup verification with proper programs, stencils, and components;
-Perform solder paste inspection of printed PCB’s;
-Handle paste printed PCB’s;
-Manually populate SMT components onto paste-printed PCB’s;
-Components fast loading into feeders and trays;
Skills and Qualifications Required
-Minimum 2 years’ prior experience operating surface mount equipment;
-Ability to recognize and identify electronic components from industry standard markings and packaging;
-Ability to read and understand Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing process instructions, Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), IPC 610 - Standards for Electronic Assemblies, J-STD-001 - Requirements for Soldered Electrical;
-Must be comfortable with ESD, RoHS, and MSD concepts;
-Ability to provide inline quality control inspection;
-Ability to work in a team oriented environment with minimal supervision;
-Ability to communicate ideas to team members;
-Good command of spoken and written English;
-Strong manual dexterity skills and attention to detail.
