PROJECT COORDINATOR - TERM POSITION
SEPTEMBER 2013 - APRIL 2014

The PEI Health Sector Council (PEIHSC) is seeking a motivated individual for the position of Project Coordinator. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for new project activity stemming from the Environmental Scan of the PEI Private Health Sector Report. In this role, the Project Coordinator will:
-Follow-up with in-depth analysis of the report recommendations
-Prepare strategic plan
-Initiate strategy

The successful candidate will possess a relevant post-secondary degree combined with demonstrated experience in project management. Proven competencies and performance in the areas of planning, management and leadership are essential. Excellent communication skills are required. In-depth knowledge of health human resource issues within the health sector of PEI is considered an asset.

The PEIHSC is a not-for-profit organization, mandated to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of health care delivery in PEI by undertaking initiatives which will enhance the ability to attract and retain a quality health sector workforce.
