Maintenance Manager
Reporting to the Area Manager the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Maintenance, Filing, Mobile shop and Electrical crews. We are looking for a combination of skills, an individual who’s worked through the ranks from trades to management who understands how the tools work and at the same time has the understanding of mill management (including safety, product quality, budgeting and professionalism).

Role Description:

Reporting to the Area Manager the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Maintenance, Filing, Mobile shop and Electrical crews. We are looking for a combination of skills, an individual who’s worked through the ranks from trades to management who understands how the tools work and at the same time has the understanding of mill management (including safety, product quality, budgeting and professionalism).

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in wood products manufacturing, with a minimum of five years at the Supervisory or Superintendent level. The successful applicant will demonstrate:

*proven leadership ability, business acumen and the desire to progress to a mill management position
*excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to build and maintain healthy working relationships.
*a thorough knowledge of lumber manufacturing equipment, processes and products
*experience with MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
*Preference will be given to Journeymen with Red Seal Certification.

Compensation Package:

100-110k plus excellent benefits package, profit sharing and more. Relocation assistance is also provided.
