Location: 76 Schools in September 2013
Nature of Position: Full-time, 7.0 hours shifts per day, including extended day programs
Salary: Starting at $20.09 per hour

Duties: Under the direction of the Principal, the Early Childhood Educator works together with the classroom teacher to help students learn and grow during the regular school day. The Early Childhood Educator leads an extended program - Before and/or After-school - for OCDSB students at designated elementary schools, and will collaborate with the teacher in daily classroom activities with students. A working knowledge of English is required. A working knowledge of French is required for some positions.
- a two-year community college program in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent
- registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators, and a minimum of one (1) year of child care experience is required
- Current First Aid certification/CPR is required
