Best Employees Leave
Sr. Implementation Consultant (Former Employee), North AmericaApril 27, 2016
Pros: Salary and benefits
Cons: Management and shaky product solutions
Replacement of management that had a human side and helped build the company by micro-managers who have harassing attributes is a large issue.

Attempt to fix morale issues with platitudes and cool motivational ideals, however, management themselves do not follow them

Very antagonistic environment with New Zealand personnel as they carry a 'holier than thou attitude' toward North America.

CEO blew it when he brought the company public and became profit over progress.

An informative internship.
internship (Former Employee), Palo Alto, CAJanuary 25, 2016
Pros: Free lunches.
Cons: Short breaks.
I learned a lot about how to collaborate with a team while working at Orion Healthcare. As an intern I was able to work with experienced software developers and see first hand how a team works together to meet a deadline. The hardest part of the job was the fast paced work environment, but that was also what made it so fun.

Run, don't just walk away
Architect (Current Employee), Scottsdale, AZJuly 24, 2015
Pros: Free breakfasts quarterly, stocked refrigerator
Cons: Micro managers, absurd culture
Culture: entrenched culture is the toughest task you will face. Its a New Zeland based company.
So, even your times to the rest room are to be approved from them.

Limited resources –
Get ready to have your priorities shifted every hour. Off course your manager would have no control of them either.
“In our organization, you get shot down before you stand up."
Most Management is non American and the few Americans who were hired were fired since they spoke their minds & tried to build a good culture. Its a rotating door for Management.

Innovation & work environment :
Do NOT encourage innovation through an top down culture, inflexible schedules, too many meetings and interdisciplinary project teams. The best thought leaders /Engineers usually leave within six months.

Employees are rarely trusted. Stopped allowing people to work at home despite putting in late hours with customer calls or company business.

A lot of work for little $
Implementation Consultant (Current Employee), Nashville, TNOctober 7, 2013
Pros: great benefits, flexibility to work from home sometimes
Cons: poor work/life balance, minimal training
The work is very demanding. This is mostly due to underestimates given to clients by project managers, sales and senior management. There are a number of people on staff that are under qualified for the position. This makes the job that much tougher on those of us that know what we are doing. The benefits are top-notch, but the salary has a bit to be desired.
