Great brand, awful culture, bad management
Corporate Account Executive (Former Employee), Toronto, ONNovember 20, 2014
Pros: product
Cons: no training, bad management
Great product obviously... But the on-boarding is non-existent. Managers are just plain incompetent. Goals, quotas are unrealistic. No training program, so you don't understand what you selling. Many employees and managers are East-Indians and if you're Caucasian, you stand no change for advance...

Goal orientated place to work. Must be customer service driven and able to trouble shoot customers need. Goal is to meet quarterly forecast
Services Renewal Sales Representative, III (Former Employee), Atlanta, GAJanuary 14, 2015
Pros: the ablility to work from home and commission package
Goal at Oracle was to ensure Higher Education Universities received their Systems renewals 90 days in advance. Speak to them about consolidating their service contracts so that yearly renewals would be easier for them on one renewal. Management was focused on making quarterly numbers and assisting as needed. Very independent remote position. Must be trusted to make your quarterly forecast without supervision. This is a team based position and daily interaction with team is necessary. Team is to help each other in any aspect as needed. This position is fast paced and requires knowledge of Service terms, legal ramifications and invoicing. Customer satisfaction and making your quarterly goals is most rewarding.

Prospecting and sales cycle management are the name of the game. This role teaches you how to be professionally persistent and how to navigate objections. The hardest part of the job is dealing with internal approval processes. The most enjoyable part is the people and the culture.

Decent place to work with fun employee apprication day
Electronic Mechanical Assembler (Former Employee), Hillsboro, ORDecember 30, 2014
Sometimes we would have a meeting when the shift started if there were changes or big news, mostly we would just come in go to station and either continue working on the rack that was started by the previous shift, or get the work orders and start prepping the station for the next rack. Prepping included gathering materials and scanning consumables, as well as some wire harness prep.

Learned a great deal about JIT, and management. As well as inventory keeping and rack management ( meaning where the rack would be assigned to be tested depending on the configuration of the rack).

Management interesting because there is a area, floor, and general manager. It worked well and generally there were no issues with conducted business.

Hardest part of the job was the challenge to be faster and get the rack built quickly, a welcome challenge none the less.

Most enjoyable was the atmosphere... other co-workers there to work hard but we also were able to keep things light.
