Technical Team Lead, Oracle Cloud Support (Current Employee) – Toronto, ON – 6 March 2018
A work place with lots of room to grow. The company is a very fast pace company and some people may have issue adapting to the pace but for someone who loves that environment, this is the place to work for.
Customer Analyst (Former Employee) – Philippines – 8 March 2018
People are friendly, chill place and great colleagues. Work are easy, we use cam for customer. Management are easy to approach, open door policy. The place was clean, complete equipment and nice working condition.
Great products, shift to cloud is minimizing on premise hardware
Principal Sales Consultant (Former Employee) – Mississauga, ON – 9 January 2018
Oracle's overlapping business solutions create unnecessary internal competition and struggles. Oracle's massive shift to cloud based offerings has minimized their focus on general purpose on premise system architectures.
Business Development Manager - Canada (Former Employee) – Mississauga, ON – 23 November 2017
Good at times but not good times, some rivers run deep others run steep other turn into waterfalls while some turn in skies where you go wherever you die the road remains invisible to the untrained eye
Business Development Manager - Canada (Former Employee) – Mississauga, ON – 22 November 2017
A magical place full of enchanted creatures, sometimes the mysteries overpower the amount of excitement that one simply cannot contain when faced with the numerous adventures that await. The land is full and abundant of magical moments of magical quests waiting to be taken on by a Hero. I said I need a hero - I'm holding out for a hero - and he's gotta be strong and he's gotta be tough and he's gotta have the will to survive.
So many where do I even start - magical times with magical people and magical cupcakes
Overall just a place to work as long as you are not in NorthAmerica
Senior QA Analyst (Former Employee) – Ottawa, ON – 16 October 2017
Big company, moves slowly Focus is 100% on shareholder value. No loyalty to employees Directors don't direct they just carry out plans from executives. Very little incentive in the lower ranks to exceed expectations. No training unless its to help management
it's a job
company shows no loyalty or value in its employees.
Director (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 18 September 2017
Nice company to work with. Good work life balance. However, sometimes opportunities to grow may be limited. Have enjoyed my work in Oracle. However, looking for new challenges outside Oracle preferably in smaller companies may be better way to grow up in career.
Director of Sales Consultant (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 15 August 2017
Legacy Company that only cares about the bottom-line. Constant restructuring for cloud means the best people aren't selected for the best jobs. Very political and the Tech Software group gets all the power
IT Principal Consultant Managed Cloud (Current Employee) – egypt – 7 August 2017
being part of a global team (my manger is indian living in the us, 2 colleagues from the czech repulic and another two from india) was challenging in the beggining but became fun because we all working around the clock to serve cloud customers. overall was a good company for my experience
Leading Sales Organization to Learn From & Build a Strong Career
Customer Success Manager (Current Employee) – Toronto, ON – 26 July 2017
Great sales organization with a very dynamic mindset to stay relevant to customer requirements. High adaptability is a secret to success at Oracle. It's possible to find pockets of innovation & start up culture across sales to build valuable experience & grow your network.
Application Sales Manager (Current Employee) – Mississauga, ON – 4 July 2017
Oracle is a great place work with good benefits, salary, commission structure with vacation package etc. They are a bit late to the cloud/ saas and trying to catch up with leaders like Salesforce, AWS etc.
Senior Principal Consultant (Current Employee) – Toronto, ON – 14 May 2017
They took me for a job at their customer place, when their project is over, they were unable to place me in any other projects as they have a very less QA presence in toronto and i have to quit and search for another job, it was a very terrible moment and i had a big stress during that time. They recruited me from a different country where i was going safe and secure. I don't recommend oracle to any one.
Senior Sales Consultant (Current Employee) – Calgary, AB – 1 May 2017
Oracle is a big company, so learning and developing here is self-driven. On the sales engineering side you are solving some great problems and have some good tools at your disposal to do so with. Definitely have to watch out for work-life balance as it can demand a lot of time. You also have to do a lot of self-promotion and managing upwards. Management can be a toss-up (some are really good and others not so - true of most places)
Interesting Problems to solve, Bonuses are usually good, pay is reasonable
