Title: Licensed Student/Intern Optician

Terms of Employment: Part time or full-time, please specify in resume, required to work day, evening and Saturdays is a must (9:30am - 4:00pm)

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Burlington, ON

Education: Must have a student/intern Optician license

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensed by the College of Opticians

Experience: Experience is an asset, not required

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Specific Skills: Perform regular tasks as an student optician (fitting,sales,adjustments), assist managing optician, excellent computer skills, booking appointments, excellent customer service and people skills

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Can be slow at times and become a fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, standing for long periods of time, keeping the office clean and organized, lab ordering, returning orders, handling inventory

Essential Skills: Problem solving skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, team player, efficient, effective and energetic, willing to learn and accept criticism
