Office Central has been in the office products industry for over 35 years. Office Central has grown to become a leading single source supplier of office and educational products, computer peripherals, computer supplies, office furniture, rubberstamps and break room supplies.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to deliver office supplies to clients in the GTA (Scarborough/Toronto, Pickering, Oshawa, Ajax areas). Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 - 5:00pm (with flexibility). Salary is approx. $32,000/year. Immediate opening.
- Operates a delivery van to transport general office supplies and/or office furniture to designated facilities in a safe and efficient manner;
- Organizes and loads product for delivery utilizing the most efficient delivery route and schedule;
- Gathers appropriate paperwork for deliveries;
- Delivers and unloads product at customer facility. After delivery is made, obtains customer signatures by having customer sign designated area on Proof of Delivery Form;
- Performs all functions in compliance with companies regulations and company safety rules;
- Accepts returns from customers, completing appropriate paperwork and returns product to warehouse. Places product in return area with appropriate documentation;
- Maintains cleanliness of vehicle and reports any maintenance problems;
- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
- Other duties, jobs and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
- Strong knowledge of the GTA including Mississauga
- Ability to lift 50lbs continuously
- Work well under pressure
