Front Desk Agent/Administrative Assistant required for very busy Resort Rental Office. Candidate must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and be highly qualified in multi-tasking. It is imperative that the applicant be extremely out-going and enjoy inter-action with guests in a fun family environment. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to: customer service, tending to the front desk of resort by answering phones and taking reservations, checking guests in and out, listening to guests questions and concerns and addressing them fully and in a timely manner, answering emails, keeping files, creating documents, data entry, assisting with laundry, doing clean checks after cleaners, keeping up cottage inventories, dealing with maintenance concerns by passing them along to appropriate people for attention, assisting Resort Manager to ensure smooth operation of all resort rental areas.
Preference will be given to those candidates having Front Desk experience in hospitality setting and more so to anyone having InnQuest/Room Master experience. This position requires the applicant to have significant experience in all Microsoft based programs.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Qualified candidates must have a great sense of humor and enjoy working as a team player in a group atmosphere.
Hours of work are 11:00 am- 7:00 pm Fridays and 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Saturday and Sunday. At present for January and February starting time on Fridays is 2:00 pm. Candidate may be asked to fill in for staff holidays/sick employees. Hours of employment will increase to full time beginning in the spring and continue as such until fall.
