Machine Operator (Former Employee), Middleboro, MA – November 11, 2013
Pros: great package -health- 401k- great people, etc
on a typical work day at ocean spray we would be testing our products to make sure they are good to move forward on the lines every hour we would make sure that they are in air tight packages. we would run various machines through out our shift which includes a vary of bag sizes that the product went in, we would have to clean the scales on top of the – more... machines. etc – less
Maintenance Manager/Supervisor (Former Employee), Bordentown, NJ – August 7, 2012
Pros: stable company
Cons: too many to list!
A typical day at Ocean Spray is full of meetings and constant change. I learned that after 20 + years in maintenance, I could not please the upper management team. I learned that: although I was chosen over 15 + candidates for a leadership position in maintenance, I was not to succeed in that role because upper management did not want me to. I never – more... received any support from the leadership team at all. The hardest part of my job was trying to survive from day to day in this type of work enviroment. The most enjoyable part of my job was leaving them ( on my own) with the memories of all my previous success and that they would now have to fill that void. – less
