Residential delivery person created directions and sold product to increase sales area. Moved to Intra company driver where I delivered the product the stores ordered.

Oberweis Dairy makes snap decisions and will find ways to let go of employees despite their work ethic. After 13 years and only missing three days od work for that time, they decided to let me go without any word. They truly DO NOT care about their employees!!!

Contrary to their beliefs there is no room for growth with in the company, the hours routinely change from almost full time to almost nothing. The pay scale is based off the owners brain child idea to pay according to the sales of the store on an average of the week. There are no benefits offered unless your a salary manager. Nice pay good benefits and a strong belief in their product and services. to much micro management from district managers meaning no free will at store level to run your store.

If you are looking for decent money without education,this is for you.The problem is upper management.They work you till the soles of your shoes fall off and dont give a darn if you have family.Money=cool,Family=lots of fights about work.The plant is in N.Aurora IL therefore St.louis is the red headed step child of the company.Terrible insurance rates. – more... My experience at oberwies was a pretty good one. A typical work day involved just pretty much running the cashier and service ice cream to the customers every other hour or so i would go in to the area where customers would sit in and eat their ice cream and clean the area like mop the floors and wipe down tables also clean the bath room. The managment – more... was great i was always giving good hours that worked around my school schedule and they even let me take a leave of absence when i went away for school. May co- worker where also great we were like a family i was always worked good as a team and always stayed in our limits. – less

A typical work day consists of ringing customers up on the cash register, then we scoop their order and we deliver it to their tables. When we are slow we clean mostly everything. The hardest part of the job is remembering how to make everything, but it gets easier the longer you work there.

Work long and hard and get no recognition for the daily efforts to keep the place running
