The Product Managers key role is to develop competitive programs which will be promoted by OWL’s Account Managers to achieve Company Sales targets. The Product Manager will market OWL’s complete product offering with emphasis on assigned product lines.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Negotiate programs with vendors

Develop and manage the relationship with key decision makers

Continuously interact with the Account Managers driving programs resulting in increased sales/margins

Organize and present products including bookings, special buys, programs, etc.

Buying, maintaining and achieving product sales and inventory budgets

Provide product knowledge support and training for Account Managers and customers where needed

Participating in the creation of sales promotions

Gather market information to ensure programs are competitive

Work closely with the Inventory Analyst to manage inventory, inbound deliveries, inventory procedures (cycle counting) and obsolete stock.

Apply continuous improvement and best practice philosophies to meet personal, department and corporate objectives

Academic and Core Competencies:
Diploma/Degree in Business related program

Goal oriented with a desire to achieve targets through self-motivation, persistence and determination

Demonstrate a high level of decision making/problem solving skills

Aptitude to improve processes

Demonstrate a high level of independence

Team player

Strong computer skills including Windows business application software
