Reporting to the Director, Finance and Administration, primary responsibilities will include greeting and assisting recipients of service and staff, as well as the general public, in a diplomatic and supportive manner given your general understanding and belief in the agency philosophy and services; the provision of proficient clerical services to all departments; and maintaining an efficient reception area.
Applicants must have a post secondary education in Office Administration and/or an appropriate combination of education and experience. The successful incumbent will have proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office, excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of and/or experience with client information systems and previous experience interacting with individuals with a developmental disability and a general understanding of social service agencies in the community would be a strong asset. Ability to obtain and maintain a current Standard First Aid certificate, including CPR is required. A current police records check is required, only upon a conditional offer of employment.
