NRI is a company that is built upon a strong foundation of values and positive achievements. One of NRI's values is a balanced lifestyle between work and personal life. In other words, they want you to play as hard as you work. This is a company that wants to personally see each employee work hard during the week but also save the weekends for some personal down time. Family time is one of their strongest values that the company is centered around and the founders have worked hard to see this value carried through within the work place. This is a company that strives to create a positive work environment where every employee enjoys coming work every day. They want to see everyone happy and getting along but they also want to see everyone working together as a team.
Family is a value that's very important to NRI's founders because they enjoy working in an environment where everyone treats one another like family and comes together to accomplish various goals. They also value the opinions of others and every employee is encouraged to come forward with any concerns or suggestions for improvement to their superiors so that any obstacles or road blocks can be over come and removed. The company holds town hall meetings every 3 months to bring up any concerns or information on future changes within the company in order to keep everyone well informed.
NRI also has several employee rewards programs as well, ranging from social club activities, staff sales and giveaways, stoked programs and annual staff parties. These achievements have earned NRI a rank for the third year inmore... a role in the World Blu achievement awards, a program that recognizes supportive and positive employers such as NRI. As an entry level warehouse experience, NRI has provided the patience and determination to help employees such as myself who started with minimal or no warehouse experience to be able to gain and build the necessary skills to be successful within the company. The best part of working for NRI is that I enjoy working with my co-workers on a daily basis.less
Working with a great group of individuals on a daily basis.
Growth opportunities, at times lack of variety in daily tasks.
Inventory control technician (Former Employee) – Kamloops, BC – 8 May 2017
My time there was adequate. Met some really nice ones, others not so much. Management isn't actually looking out for you so just don't complain and it all good. Good pay and great if you are looking for a summer job. But don't bet on getting it two years in a row because it just doesn't happen for anyone. Overall 5/10
