Hours: 7 days/week rotating shifts (morning, day, evening and weekends), starting dates are immediate

Pay: based on experience

Qualification: minimum 3 years in a similar role

Job description: The baker is responsible for producing all baked goods within the bakery including breads, pastries, and pies. Other duties include:

  • Supervising baking personnel
  • Follows standards and guidelines when preparing product for our customers
  • Follows all operating guidelines for each piece of equipment
  • Regularly takes temperatures of the required product, fridges and freezer and records information in the Time & Temperature Log
  • Minimizes food waste, through making smaller quantities of food more often throughout the day and records prepared items and waste on the production sheet
  • Monitors freezer product inventory and submits order quantities
  • Supports a clean environment through regular clean up
  • Follows proper hand washing techniques and all sanitation guidelines; completes all sanitation tasks as outlined by the Store Owner or Store Manager
