This is about Sandoz R&D which is a part of Novartis campus in East Hanover NJ.
I learned many aspects of different processes and equipment.

The bonuses are very small. The company is so big that you feel like a number. The people were great.

I worked with Novartis for a number of years through a very large growth period for the company. I had 5 managers and at least 10 products in 9 years. The changes within the company were always met with professionalism and executed well.

I had a 5 year run with Novartis. The first year was great, then it went downhill from there. Novartis started loosing products/ going generic and nothing but combo products in the pipeline. I had a total of 5 managers within 5 years and 3 regional directors. Because of all of the management changes, i was never given the chance to advance or receive – more... a raise. I was also given poor ratings during the year I was on Maternity Leave. These ratings were given to me by a regional director I had never met! This ultimately led to my "lay off" with the company. Management not in touch with its workers. I had 5 supervisors and in a year and half, I only met 2 of them. And these 5 gave me my annual review and never even met them.

I learn a lot about the Pharmaceutical industry there software and the applicationthey use also the envirorment.

Enjoyed the diffrent products I sold which allowed for me to add quality of life and value

Novartis taught me how to do ethical marketing. Novartis marketing stratigies are able enough to creat a new market for their product.They really value their people.

I had an excellent experience working with Novartis as I got to learn a lot from this company. I also got to work in different aspects of different opportunities that I got while working with this company. I only had to leave this company as I got an admission to pursue my studies at a different place otherwise I would have never left this company.

Company has poor leadership. The company's leaders are often let go after a few years so reps are constantly asked to adopt new philosophies every two or so years.

The hardest part is the pace and the demand of the job but I am able to get by it.

I fostered drug discovery screening campaigns as a technical advisor of high content imaging and cell-based assay development, formed collaborations with GNF research investigators and academic researchers and acted as a lead member of the GNF Bio-Imaging Core. .Interesting and fun work environment. Great team work and very easy going coworkers. Poor communication within areas but work on to make enhancement.

It's a good place to work at. People are very nice and you usually work no more than 40 hrs a week.
