We are currently recruiting for the following key addition to our team:
Outside Sales Representative – Prince George, BC

Responsibilities
 Work closely with the Regional Market Manager to increase sales in assigned sales territory.
 Travel to customer’s location to deliver product – stock vendor managed inventory.
 Develop a strong understanding of assigned sales territory (major accounts, where purchasing from).
 Create sales goals and targets with Regional Market Manager.
 Continually prospecting for new accounts.
 Create invoices.
 Responsible for specific sales territory, must develop and maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet NIS’s organizational goals and values.
 Create and organizes special orders per customer requirements.
 Supply purchaser with information such as costs, quotes from suppliers etc.
 Strive to give customers the best possible service at a fair price.
 Research best pricing, negotiates with customers and suppliers.
 Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.
 Assist both walk-in customers when at branch location and customer account clients.
 Cover other customer accounts and territories in the instance of a co-worker absence.
 Use respectful language and conduct.
 Liaise with other NIS departments (Purchasing, A/P, A/R, Management, Shipping/Receiving) to ensure business processes run smoothly to meet customer demands.
 Develop a strong relationship with supplier/manufacturer sales representatives, makes joint end user calls and continually promotes product line growth.

Educational Requirements
 High School diploma

Required Skills/Experience
 Valid class 5 drivers license
 Team player - Strong communication, both oral and written, and interpersonal skills
 Strong sales experience in the Industrial Sales Industry
 Strong problem solving and decision making skills
 Strong knowledge of the Industrial Sales Industry
 Must know how to organize and manage yourself!
 Able to work under pressure as required during peak periods
 Process driven with ability to focus and produce results
 Strong computer skills
Working Conditions
 Office, warehouse and store environment. An industrial environment so expect dirty conditions. At customer locations specific safety equipment may be required, extensive vehicle travel also required.
