This expertise covers electrical, instrumentation maintenance, plant rebuilds, turnarounds and construction across petrochemical, SAGD and industrial sectors.

A notable increase in regional growth projects has opened up an opportunity for the position of Journeyman Electrician in our Oil Sands sites. Norcan Electric is seeking skilled and dedicated licensed electricians to deliver best-in-class maintenance, turnaround and sustaining project services to Canada’s top oil and gas companies.

The ideal candidate is an Alberta Certified Journeyman Instrumentation Technicians or holds an Inter-provincial Red Seal. Preference will be given to those with industrial and/or experience and knowledge.

As the successful candidate your skills will include:

- Be available for camp work
- Have experience working and executing maintenance in a live plant
- Able to calibrate, troubleshoot and carryout installations
- Have an updated Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) ticket
- Pass drug and alcohol pre access testing

Please note: this is Not PLC/ control board specialists

The rotation is subject to site schedule and all work is in the Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo region. Consideration will also be provided for those with an extensive electrical / instrumentation trade background.
