We are looking for a motivated self-starter with Accounts Payable, Accounting Receivable and Administrative experience. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for all bookkeeping and administrative duties as assigned working out of the head office. Some of the primary roles include; Administration
Provide administrative support which includes but is not limited to
Customer Service Representative Work closely with customer to address any inquiries and concerns
Provide secretarial and administrative support to management and other staff
Coordinate the maintenance of office equipment
Use computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software to prepare reports, memos and documents
Administer paperwork with warehouses and logistics Special Projects Accounting
Perform bookkeeping and business administration tasks which includes but is not limited to:
Work closely with Operations Manager Purchases/payables, sales/receivables management Preparation of month-end reports and reconciliations Maintain Production Data as required Provide Assistance to Director of Finance Ad-hoc reporting
Qualifications and Experience
Strong understanding of accounting procedures and policies
Minimum of 5 years in an office environment, preferably with relevant accounting experience.
Strong computer skills with Microsoft office (word, excel, access and power point)
Understanding of Great Plains Accounting/Manufacturing program would be an asset
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team
Experience working independently with minimal supervision
Have analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Needs to be hands on in other departments as required
Education
High School Diploma or Business Diploma
