As the SharePoint Solution Sales Representative you will report to our VP of Sales Engineering with the mandate to:

  • Retain and grow current business through proactive customer engagement
  • Penetrate new markets to grow the business by devising Sales Approaches and Solutions
  • Possess a strong business mind with relevant industry acumen
  • Have the ability to identify, uncover and address customer needs with customized solutions
  • You must also possess the ability to “Hunt”, and to develop and grow new business

Primary Duties
Primary duties include:

  • Responsible for achieving a monthly, quarterly and annual sales quota
  • Technical support for pre-sales engineering, i.e. presentations and discussions with prospective IT representatives with regard to SharePoint development and technical resourcing
  • Architecture discussions and presentations
  • Proof of Concept Support
  • Assistance with technical aspects of RFPs
  • Act as a liaison between internal engineering and the customer
  • Develop effective executive calling strategies and dialogues on solutions
  • Will work closely with senior management to development and implement the marketing plan for the Greater Calgary area

Building Partnerships
The right candidate will play an instrumental role in developing and maintaining relationships with significant clients in the greater Calgary area by:

  • Demonstrating business acumen and cultivating a network with the end goal of earning the customer’s respect of a trusted business advisor
  • Building effective working relationships with internal and external partners
  • Reporting to Sales Management regarding the pulse within defined territory, specific accounts and the general climate of the market
  • Maneuvering within the client organization to establish relationships with key decision makers with the intent to build or expand business

Job Requirements

  • BA/BSc preferred
  • 7+ yrs related business experience preferred


  • 5+ years Sharepoint development experience (REQUIRED)
  • 5+ years Web service integration experience, e.g. REST, SOAP, etc.
  • Demonstrated relevant or related sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to penetrate markets
  • Has a demonstrated history of exceeding sales goals and quotas
  • Must be self-disciplined with a proven record of success working independently within a relevant or related industry
  • Good presentation skills
  • Must be willing to travel and cover assigned market territory within Alberta
