Intermediate Level Interior Designer min 5 - 6 year’s commercial/hospitality design experience.
Preference given to BCIT, Kwantlen University College, Vancouver Arts institute graduate
Extensive working knowledge of Auto CAD 2013/14
Extensive working knowledge of Sketchup 2013/14
Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically, Outlook, Word, Excel & Publisher
Extensive working knowledge with Adobe Photoshop CS6
Extensive experience in hand sketching details
Extensive experience with onsite meetings and coordination with trades
Excellent command of English both spoken and written additional languages an asset
You have an up to date portfolio & resume
You have references that can be contacted
You are driven and excel in detailed work
You work well and are productive on your own
You are also a team player
You are not a 9 – 5 Monday to Friday person this job may require extended hour’s occasional weekend work.
You have taken on commercial/hospitality projects from start to finish for firms that you have worked for.
You have had experience working on site gathering information and site measuring
You are able to travel occasionally within BC and outside of the Province but within Canada.
You have a class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
You understand commercial construction and its components
You understand detailing of commercial construction documents
You understand commercial millwork detailing
You have attended site meetings or even run a site meeting with trades and consultants
You have been involved in the formal tendering of projects

We are a commercial design firm that specializes in primarily hospitality based interior and concept designs.
Our firm is a small but efficient firm that handles 20 – 25 projects a year ranging from $150,000 to $8,000,000 in construction cost.
We do not limit ourselves to hospitality projects and have been awarded several commissions for transportation design specifically charter train cars, private rail cars, limousines, yachts, jets, high end residential and product design.
We are located in the lower mainland with easy access to highways and bus routes in North Vancouver
