As an experienced General Manager of a limited service Hotel, you will assume responsibility for the revenue maximization and day-to-day operation of our Hotel (The five functions of management – Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Directing and Controlling). You will be required to operate on a hands-on basis with frequent daily guest contact and requiring you to work along-side staff at the hotel. This will require you to take shifts on the front desk actively dealing directly with guests. This position will assume responsibility for Front Desk, Housekeeping Operations, Maintenance and Parking/Security. You will ensure the grounds are kept routinely clean and presentable (landscaped in season) and co-ordinate the quick repair of all room deficiencies with the maintenance department. Comply to all company Procedures and Policies as well as adhere to company Health and Safety guidelines and comply with federal and provincial regulations to protect company assets.
