NextEra Energy Canada, ULC is an indirect, wholly-owned subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC. NextEra Energy Resources is the largest generator of wind energy in North America with 100 wind projects in 19 U.S. states and four provinces, operating more than 9,600 wind turbines. These projects are capable of generating over 10,000 MW of energy, enough to power 2.6 million homes.

NextEra Energy Canada began to actively develop wind projects in Canada in 2006, and located our Canadian headquarters to Burlington, Ontario in March 2007. In 2012, NextEra Energy Canada relocated its headquarters to Toronto, Ontario. NextEra Energy Canada is focused on future development in Ontario and other provinces. We have two solar facilities, as well as five wind facilities currently operating in Canada. We are also developing seven additional wind energy centres in Ontario which we expect will be operational by 2015.

Associate Wind Site Manager
Murdochville, Quebec

Position oversees a team performing Operations and Maintenance activities for a wind energy site. This is an entry level site management position. This position must learn to apply the Power Generation Division's (PGD) Operational Model to develop and execute proficiently key PGD processes. Responsibilities include oversight for the Operations and Maintenance activities for a wind energy project. Develops cost-effective operations and maintenance programs. Ensures compliance to all PGD operational model processes, leads by example and emulates the PGD shared values . Interfaces with land owners, utilities, regulatory agencies, local government and/or community representatives. Monitors and controls plant budget. If applicable, ensures that contractual obligations are met. Job may include other misc duties as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree in related field or three (3) years relevant duties experience and a minimum of two (2) years relevant supervisory experience.
