InGenius People is seeking an experienced Bid Response Specialist to perform recruiting and bid response for Government and Private sector opportunities. We are currently looking for an experienced person who possesses a good understanding of the Canadian government procurement strategy, professional services and who has experience in attaining procurement vehicles such as TBIPS, SBIPS, THS, CSPS, TSPS, etc. This position will be work from home position and must be based in the Ottawa Ontario area.

Description:
As a Technical Recruiter & Bid Response Specialist you will:

  • Recruit and qualify candidates to meet customer and RFP needs
  • Technical interviewing (phone, face to face, skype)
  • Write and edit strategic proposal documents that are engaging and informative
  • Experienced in responding to all Canadian government vehicles RFSA and RFSO requests and refreshes (TBIPS, THS, PS Online, TSPS, SBIPS, etc)
  • Work collaboratively with the business owners to develop proposal win themes, strategies, and non–subject matter expert business content with the proposal team
  • Research and gather business requirements from consultants and translate requirements into the proposal document that comply with RFP requirements, as well as InGenius People's internal branding guidelines
  • Research and identify all relevant company proposal materials, boilerplate, and intelligence relevant to the respective writing assignment
  • Provide initial review and edit of all proposal drafts and final versions
  • Ensure the proper contextual integrity of proposals by coordinating all edits with respective subject matter experts and content contributors
  • Manage the proposal process including developing and maintaining a plan with key timelines, resources, review cycles, status meetings to ensure we are on target
  • Coordinate additional proposal development support services, as required. This may include coordinating the inclusion of all services throughout the proposal lifecycle.
  • Provide proofreading services of the final product, prior to production and delivery
  • Capture new/updated content in boilerplates and share back with the team
  • Follow up on win/loss status of opportunities you worked on
  • Manage proposal production, packaging, and delivery to ensure on–time submission of high quality proposals

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Ability to write and speak in English (Bilingual Preferred)
  • Positive and a can do attitude
  • Minimum (2) two years of experience in recruiting, strategic writing, including business and/or proposal writing, in professional services
  • Minimum of Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance issued by the Canadian Government
  • A college or university degree in English or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Ability to work remotely, but meet face to face up to 3 days per week
  • Audit experience as a practitioner or writer is preferred
  • Highly proficient in the use of MS Word and MS PowerPoint
  • Proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Project, MS Visio, Adobe Photoshop, WinZip, and PDF Writer
  • Strong skills in creative and business writing, and project management for multiple simultaneous projects
  • Exceptional ability to translate abstract or complex concepts into clear and concise communication
  • Ability to work with practitioners to tailor win themes, and provide valuable proposal advice and identify benefits for clients
  • Experience working with varying levels of management, which may include Managers, Executives, and Partners
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with bilingualism as an asset
  • Highly detailed with exceptional organizational and problem solving skills balanced by the judgement to raise issues and seek advice when required
  • Highly self–motivated with a "can–do" attitude, and able to work well without supervision.
  • Experience in responding to audit RFPs is a definite asset
  • As part of the recruitment process those selected will be required to provide employment references and complete a background check which includes a criminal check
